what is up hey it’s the new year let’s get into it it’s 2023. sleep token put out two songs in two days and they’re both excellent I guess we’ll listen to uh the summoning
[Music] Now full disclosure I have heard this song but I have to do a reaction video I haven’t heard any of the rest of these it’s just so cool that again Progressive music is becoming so popular how many views does this have now they’re up close to a million and I think maybe the other song might even have more I’m not sure but you know polyphia sleep token there’s so many artists that are just doing really interesting things and I feel like they’re really getting discovered on YouTube maybe more than Spotify maybe I’m wrong but people are really seeking out this type of music and and that’s so exciting man it’s so exciting man inspiring because I’m creating music that is uh not going to be easy to categorized spoiler alert for this song but you know they go through a lot of different genres from Progressive to um just like straight up metal to well I’ll save the outro we’ll get to the outro hang on [Music]
thank you
[Music]
break down here is a very Dream Theater very Fates warning-esque just so good you know some of the other parts are very uh similar to slip knot you know but it’s all like progressive metal and it’s just uh completely my wheelhouse I like that you know I want to make another video as well that’s all about uh image and music and why again music’s something that we hear what what does image have to do with that we should take image more and more out of the equation so really it’s just this same image it just kind of like keeps circling around this final boss it’s a super cool graphic it looks cool but you know it just kind of allows you to just really Zone in and focus on the music [Music] [Applause] [Music] then we have like this ambient section which reminds me more of uh cloud cloud is a another phenomenal artist who is in a completely different genre but it’s kind of like electronic Industrial cyberpunk Music but then mixed with soul so again completely something that I love I love Soul music and I also love uh you know dark industrial epic cyberpunk music um and uh that’s another thing about this band is uh the singer of course he he can do those metal screams but he sings in a really soulful way which is really uh unusual I think for this genre onwards [Music] [Applause]
[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
love it I love it again I’ve heard this song before but there’s your big reveal and I know right there they lost like half the metal heads Maybe not maybe people are getting more open-minded I pray I hope and I pray because my music does this type of stuff I love old school soul and Funk and all of that I love that Soulful thing and the bass is just pure funkier at the end and in my experience you know Metal Head guys and girls they just they only listen to metal oh no no no funk music oh my God no no no don’t play that around me so um but I mean these guys are getting tons of views man and and they’re doing some real crossover Fusion type of [ __ ] and uh I’m here for it man I love this type of stuff and I’m so happy I’m so happy that this is getting attention [Music] all of them [Music] [Applause] [Music]
oh my God that makes me so happy
and it automatically goes to polyphia I don’t know how many views does Polyphia have though right now
10 million views thank you maybe there is a God maybe there is a God man that’s just uh that’s the way it should be thank you guys for watching and uh I’m gonna just end on a high note until next time love you!
