This tutorial covers using Ableton’s built-in sampler, Bassynth, Substance, Braams Bass, Reese Bass, Acid Bass, using splice samples, refining your bass pattern, stacking & layering multiple basses and processing your bass. Basically anything except 808s. Which are boring, overrated & dead. Decades of hearing the same bass sound, come onnnnn, bro.

This is a short film I created, with the help of AI (Stable Diffusion, along with a whole lot of other editing software).
This seems to be a hotbed topic lately and my answer to the question “Will AI replace artists” is… does it matter? It’s here, it’s not going anywhere… so evolve & adapt or die.
I can tell you creating animations or films in AI isn’t any easier right now than learning Blender or Unreal Engine. Meaning it’s pretty insanely difficult. This piece took me about a month to make. It’s just another tool & how artists choose to use that tool is entirely up to them.
