DVNT Latest Videos Bo Burnham’s Inside Reaction, The Joker & How They Relate To Mental Health Awareness in America
So I wanted to contribute to the Gen.Zeitgeist surrounding these pieces. I know I’m a little late to the existential angst party but here goes…
So we’ve had 2 nearly universally loved pieces about mental illness in the last couple years… which is a good thing, right? Sure, but neither of these really resonated with me & I will explain exactly why in the course of this podcast. On a positive note, have you watched Pink Floyd’s The Wall recently? Because it’s pretty great. Have you listened to Marc Rebillet lately? Because he just might save the world with his music.

Have you ever heard of Savannah Brown?

Because she’s been doing what Bo did in his special for some time now & a whole helluva lot better IMO… & with probably with 1% of his budget. This isn’t a hatefest, just one man’s opinion. Hope you are all doing well in your own alternate versions of my reality.

DVNT Latest Videos Great Art Exists in the Extremes | Outsider Art & Music
I believe great art is created in the extremes, by the outliers of society. That “one must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star”
That all the most enduring music is essentially outsider music. Playing it safe is death to new artists & we are living in a society now that rewards this mentality. We can do better… and it matters. #outsiderart #outsidermusic

New Song! Lately I’ve been experimenting with fusing elements of cyberpunk with Kawaii K-pop & a touch of Grimes. I call this Cyberfunk but for me it’s fun, sexy music & open for interpretation. I have a few tracks in this mode, I hope you guys ❤ it.
