DVNT Latest Videos My New Joker Impression | The Madcap Laughs (OC)
So, I recorded this new Joker Impression a few years ago & just never got around to editing it. It’s still not even close to a perfect edit… but who has time for all that? I hope people will focus on the performance & not the “filmmaking” as this was all me, no big budget studio to make everything look the best or perfect.
Joaquin Phoenix did an incredible job, no doubt; although his Joker wasn’t how I’ve ever pictured the character. For me, The Joker will always be the ultimate mastermind & supervillain. Weakness isn’t a part of his persona. The Joker cannot be a victim, sorry, I don’t buy it.
Jared Leto’s Joker was… a joke (3/22/21 Edit: ie Suicide Squad, haven’t seen Snyder’s Justice League yet)
This new Joker impression / impersonation pays homage to the best classic portrayals from Ledger, Hamill, Nicholson, even Romero and comics such as Batman: The Killing Joke. But, I think it’s also very much my own original creation… and yes, the script is something that I wrote/ improvised.
I hope you enjoy it… and Happy Halloween, ya freaks. 👿
